Rangers House
Graeme Ash Shopfitters contracted Universal Fibre Optics to supply and install fibre optic light tubes in a range of display cases manufactured for Rangers House.
The light tubes provide a wash of light to enhance and illuminate the precious artefacts displayed within the cases by utilising glass fibre tails spaced equally along the length of the tube housing.
The security of the valuable objects on display was also a consideration. By placing the lightsources powering the tube lights beneath the display cases, routine maintenance such as bulb changing can easily be carried out without opening the cases themselves.

Light sources: Aurora 100w halogen
Fibre harnesses: 2mm glass fibre used for lighttubes
End fittings: UFO Lighttubes at 32mm, 38mm and 50mm diameters
