Information

The main advantages of fibre optic lighting are its easy to achieve colour change properties and the ability to position the light source in an easily accessible place, no matter where the actual light points are to be located.

Our range of enclosures allows even greater flexibility when positioning a light source. These are not submersible and are not suitable for direct burial, but they are weatherproof, so allow a light source to be located outdoors.

Mounting Variations

Our enclosures come in 4 standard sizes as detailed above, but configuration depends on the mounting orientation - we fit vents to the enclosures to suit. Normally enclosures are supplied with the harness factory fitted into the box.

We have divided the enclosures into two types - those which only have vents on the shallow sides (Type 1) for metal halide light sources, and those which can also have vents on the lid (Type 2) for halogen light sources.

Please see the product datasheet for more information.
