Fish Tank Bar, Edinburgh

Small bar - big atmosphere! That was the brief given to Universal Fibre Optics by architects Kerr Blyth Associates for the lighting within the Fishtank bar in Edinburgh.

To provide a colourwash effect throughout the bar, UFO P9 pavers were installed along the perimeter walls, coupled with ceiling downlighters. The wall colours also help to enhance the effect of the lighting. The pavers and downlights are powered by DMX lightsources for scene setting and synchronising the colourchange of the lighting with the bar's sound system.

As a finishing touch, a fibre optic light panel utilising a soft colourchange was installed behind one of the bar's large fishtanks.
