Dominion Cinema

Universal Fibre Optics utilised a variety of lighting techniques to provide mood lighting within the Dominion Cinema.

In the bar area, UFOP3 pavers were set into the bar top, illuminating the bar and throwing a striking field of light onto the ceiling above. Fibre optics provided the perfect and safe solution to illuminate the bar's ice basins as no electricity flows through fibre optic tails. The back bar stand is also illuminated by 6 colourchanging and dimming fibre optic pavers located in the base of the unit behind an acrylic fascia.

A 12 metre star cloth provides a stunning backdrop to the area above the cinema's pullman seats, which is powered by a single lightsource located in the floor.

The cinema's staircases were lit using UFO P3 stainless steel pavers installed low down in the stair risers to wash scallops of light onto the stair treads.

The lightsources required to power the pavers were placed within voids in the stepped seating. Dimmable pavers were also installed in runway format along the rows of seats.
