Dichroic Wheel Colours

The standard dichroic colour wheel supplied with this light source comes with six colours. These are:

We can provide light sources configured with our unique Varicolour colour wheels.

Alternatively, we can 'sandwich' a colour wheel and a modified twinkle wheel together giving the light output the properties of both in a single wheel.

Ultima 250W Metal Halide Lightsource

These light sources can supplied as white light only or with colour change. See below to specify the model you require.

The Ultima can only be used with GLASS FIBRE ONLY.

Wheel Control Options Explained

Continuous - the colourwheel can not be stopped.

Switch - A switch is fitted on the light source allowing the motor to be switched on or off.

Separate Feed - A separate mains power feed is fitted allowing the motor to be wired through a light switch for remote operation.

AVR - the colourwheel is configured for use with an AVR controller which can be supplied at extra cost.

The table below shows how long the light of each colour will be seen, depending on the number of segments in the colour wheel and the speed of the motor specified.
