Club Earth, Livingston

Universal Fibre Optics were commissioned to produce a custom chandelier with DMX colour change over over a bar serving area in Club Earth, a night club in Livingston.

The chandelier which was required quickly as the club was opening soon. Universal Fibre Optics looked at the the design of chandelier and agreed a layout in two halves with the lighting designers.

The fibre optics were split into harnesses of 499 tails using special 40mm common end connectors and there were 6 harnesses required giving a total of 2994 tails. Fibre was installed fibre into the chandelier base in the triangular shape desired by the designers with short tails on the outside increasing in drop towards the centre.

The chandelier was completed from start to finish in 4 weeks and in time for the grand opening.
